I recently read a story about a young woman in San Diego; I won’t mention her name, as i really don’t want to give her any more notoriety than she has already created for herself. Not to mention, I personally hope that she changes her mind about her decision to sell her virginity to [...]

Here is an interesting story in the news…it seems that people who annoy others are now being held legally responsible and can receive fines for their annoying behavior. Those who have been annoyed now have legal recourse against those who continually display behavior that is alarming, annoying, or serves no legitimate purpose. Wow! That is interesting. [...]

I have been thinking about leadership alot lately and it’s direct connection to success or failure. Leadership whether it is in government, business, organizations, religions, education or, in personal relationships is very important. Not everyone can be an effective leader. There are more followers than leaders; so it is extremely important to follow the right [...]

So, are you buying it? Are you buying the idea that the celebrity, the media and political pundits are perpetuating; that the Democrats and Barack Obama has this Presidential election all tied up? And if you are buying it…are you hearing a little voice inside your head saying…anything that looks too good to be true, probably isn’t [...]

Spending twenty three hours a day with yourself, in jail…would lead most people to do some real introspective deep thinking about the reasons you find yourself sitting behind bars. Especially for a person who had been living the high life as Mayor of Detroit; it is a big lifestyle adjustment. Kwame Kilpatrick will have [...]

Slavery exists even today; i know that that sounds like an inflammatory statement but it is true. It is just not talked about in any kind of real, life changing way. I read a book recently which opens up a whole new way of looking at the world. It is rather frightening. Slavery exists [...]

Another family has made the news by dropping off their children, 9 of them from ages 1 to 17 at a hospital in Nebraska. It is in my mind, in cases of abandonment, almost as if the children are treated like a litter of unwanted puppies. In mid July, Nebraska made its own news headlines by instituting a “safe [...]

Dreams are pretty important stuff, did you know that? Most of us live our lives with a dream tucked away in our hearts. Every now and again we take it out, polish it up with our tears and a loving swipe with a soft cloth, all the while going over the reasons why now [...]

If you knew that your child, sister, brother, father, mother or someone important to you was in danger…would you take action to change what was about to happen? I would say that most of us would agree, that if we could change the chances of our loved ones being in danger or suffering….most of [...]

In a surprising turn of events, a Missouri woman named Ms. Lori Drew is being brought up on charges stemming from a 13 year old girl’s suicide; her name was Megan Meier. It is surprising because some people in law enforcement believe this area of law to be untried; prosecuting cyber stalking/bullying has not been commonly [...]
